Inside Sales Representative

Our client, a technology firm based in midtown Toronto, seeks a passionate and talented Inside Sales Representative to join their team.

In this role you will:
Drive new business sales across North America and effectively manage your territory
Prospect and qualify new revenue opportunities by identifying business goals and critical issues within the marketplace
Forecast business
Drive your own individual quota
Build, maintain and develop knowledge to become an expert on the organizations' suite of products and services
Strategically and creatively build pipeline and maintain coverage to quota
Host online presentations and online demonstrations when required
Provide prompt phone/email follow up to all queries and properly document and track results
Track all pertinent information related to opportunities and accounts
Uncover customers’ business processes using a consultative approach

Skills and Experiences Required:
University Degree or College Diploma or equivalent
Strong experience as a goal-oriented, resilient sales professional
3+ years of direct sales experience in the technology industry (experience with a SaaS subscription model preferred)
Strong experience performing against quota
Proven experience closing business via phone
Excellent communication and listening skills
Strong business acumen
Proven ability to influence key decision makers
Ability to adapt to volume and transactional sales when necessary
Experience working in a fast paced, open, collaborative, passionate and driven environment
Self-starter personality
Strong technical aptitude
Natural interest in current trends in software and cloud computing
